Survey: Staff and teamwork issues keep pharma away from social media

Big Pharma avoids using social media due to a lack of internal social media expertise, a lack of understanding of the platform's potential and a lack of ways to measure return on investment, according to a Weber Shandwick survey of 12 high-level pharma execs. Executives said they are developing metrics to measure performance and are beginning to recognize the benefit of listening to patients.
