U.S. Supreme Court rules against university employees alleging bias

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled against an employee of Ball State University and a doctor at the University of Texas in separate cases alleging discrimination. Each case ended in a 5-4 decision. "This will help smoke out claims where employees cannot show that but for the alleged illegal actions, they would not have suffered," said employment lawyer Anthony Oncidi.
