Dow eyes manufacturing joint venture in Turkey

Dow Chemical is engaged in negotiations to invest billions of dollars in a Turkish plastics-manufacturing joint venture, said Kostas Katsoglou, chief of Dow's Eastern Europe and Russia segment. "Within coming months, we will be in a much more advanced stage in terms of scoping out the project and taking internal decisions necessary to implement it. We want to build a world-scale plant and make sure it is part of our global grid," Katsoglou said.
