GAF's plant in Fresno, Calif., to be shuttered, employees laid off

Roofing-materials maker GAF announced that it will shutter its residential roofing facility in Fresno, Calif., and lay off employees in the process. The largest roofing company in the country plans to let go of 36 workers July 12 and another 21 in October. GAF has been known to shutter and reactivate its plants according to the demand seen in the construction industry, according to this article.
