Mo. law could increase access to NP care for rural patients

A measure has been signed into law that could extend the ability of Missouri nurse practitioners to treat patients and increase access to care for rural patients. The telehealth provision allows NPs to practice more than 50 miles away from collaborating physicians. MONA was among the groups that supported the change during hearings.
