Plastic surgeon questions ethics of making patients look more Western

Two cosmetic procedures that are the most popular with Asians -- rhinoplasty to narrow the nose and blepharoplasty to create an extra fold in the upper eyelid -- make patients look more Caucasian, writes plastic surgeon Anthony Youn, author of the book "In Stitches." Youn says he sees many parents who request the procedures for their children. He has begun to reconsider whether such procedures are right for patients or for society.
