Report shows UK teachers are younger than those in other nations

Teachers in the United Kingdom are among the youngest in a worldwide comparison conducted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. The report, released this week, shows that 30.8% of primary-school teachers in the UK are younger than age 30, and, at the secondary-school level, 49% of UK teachers are younger than 40 -- higher than the OECD average of 36%.
