BPA in water coolers concerns consumer

Concerned about the possible health risks of bisphenol A, one consumer was told by Poland Spring, a supplier of water coolers, that BPA was only in its 3- and 5-gallon bottles and not in its softer individual bottles. The American Chemistry Council asserts that BPA is safe. "The science of bisphenol A has been comprehensively reviewed around the world by many government bodies, and there is a consensus view that this chemical, bisphenol A, is safe for use," said Steven Hentges of the ACC.
