Suburban Chicago nurse is part of evolution of hospice care

For more than 30 years, nurse Jackie Holland of suburban Chicago has participated in the growth of hospice care. A founder of the volunteer-based Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter in Glenview, Ill., she says hospice has evolved from serving only cancer patients at home to treating patients with many diseases and now hospital patients as well.
