Design sprint should start with a beginner's focus

The first day of a design sprint should bring all the players together and ask each to spell out his or her ideas from the beginning, even though much of this may cover old ground, advises Google Ventures’ Jake Knapp. It's important to foster a beginner's mindset on the first day to stimulate fresh thinking. After that, a series of exercises can help build on a broader ground of common understanding.
