Details unveiled for $2.7B Brent Spence Bridge over Ohio River

The design choices for the new Brent Spence Bridge over the Ohio River between Kentucky and Ohio have been narrowed down to two, an arch bridge design and a double-tower cable-stayed bridge. If state officials opt to use a public-private partnership model, a request for proposals could be issued next year and construction may start by early 2015.
