Application developers can now more easily create app install ads on Facebook, with only a link to their apps required and no preregistration with the social network. Facebook is also more than doubling the analytical metrics offered to marketers to judge the effectiveness of their ads. "The key thing is we are introducing four new levels of data—demographic, geographic, placement and ad account data," said Product Manager David Baser.
