Higher risk of hypoglycemia admission seen in blacks, older patients

Data presented at the ADA 73rd Scientific Sessions showed hypoglycemia rates were twice as high in diabetes patients ages 85 and older than in patients ages 65 to 74, while black patients had a fourfold increased risk of hypoglycemia-related admission compared with whites.
