Summit buys four hotels for $18 million

Summit Hotel Properties has acquired four hotels for $18 million. Two of the hotels -- a Fairfield Inn by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott in Germantown, Tenn. -- were bought from Memphis, Tenn.-based Master Hospitality Services. The other acquisitions are a Towneplace Suites by Marriott in St. Louis and a Holiday Inn Express in Boise, Idaho.
