Surgeon General wins over NPs at annual conference

U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona won over an audience of nurse practitioners at the annual American Academy of Nurse Practitioners meeting in Texas last week. In his keynote address, Carmona, who formerly worked as a nurse, told attendees that he was "still a nurse at heart."
