Nutrition program in schools might help reduce obesity

School programs that promote nutrition, exercise and healthy living appear to help overweight and obese children lose weight and keep it off, according to a study at 42 middle schools. However, the study also found that cases of obesity decreased by 4% whether or not the school adopted the anti-obesity program, suggesting that other factors may have influenced the decline.
