DuPont Danisco chooses Nevada for cellulosic ethanol plant

DuPont Danisco Cellulosic Ethanol will establish a commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant in Nevada, the company said. The facility will utilize locally sourced corn cobs, leaves and stalks as feedstocks, said spokeswoman Jennifer Hutchins. The biorefinery will take 12 months to 18 months to build and should be ready for production in 2013, Hutchins added.
