Analysts: Sprint will use cash from takeover to build out 4G network

Sprint Nextel will use the billions in cash it's projected to receive from new owner SoftBank to boost its infrastructure to better compete with Verizon Wireless and AT&T, analysts said. "SoftBank will bring a cash infusion that will help Sprint in terms of building out its 4G LTE network, which is going to be key for Sprint in terms of competitiveness," said David Heger, an analyst at Edward Jones.
