CIO survey finds health groups aren't ready for Big Data

A recent healthsystemCIO.com survey finds that contrary to how some vendors are trying to sell Big Data, only 24% of chief information officer respondents said their groups are performing "high-level" predictive data analytics. Getting organizational buy-in was cited as the biggest barrier, along with high costs and lack of standards in implementing the technology.
