"Downton Abbey" inspires 2 wines

Dulong Grands Vins de Bordeaux and Wines That Rock have partnered with the licensing company for "Downton Abbey," Knockout Licensing, to create a "vintage" wine based on the television show. The Bordeaux clarets and Bordeaux blancs will bear the "Downton Abbey" name, and will re-create "the rich Bordeaux wines imported by the British aristocracy from France in the early 1900s," a release said. A release date for the wines has not been set, but they will be sold in individual bottles and gift sets in the U.S. and Canada.
