Mariano's adds store in suburban Chicago

Gourmet grocer Mariano's has opened a 76,000-square-foot store in Chicago suburb Elmhurst, focusing on fresh and ready-to-eat specialty items -- sushi and gelato bars and a pizzeria are among the mix -- as well as staples. Bob Mariano, CEO of parent Roundy's Supermarkets, credits his focus on customer service and quality offerings to 27 years of experience at Dominick's, which also has a store in Elmhurst.
