Marketers salute DOMA decision on social media

Marketers raced to social media to show support for the the Supreme Court's decision to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act on Wednesday. Among them were ABC Family and MasterCard, which purchased promoted tweets for #gaymarriage as they looked to promote a new TV show and an NYC Pride contest, respectively. Smirnoff beat most to the punch by posting a Facebook photo supporting marriage equality a day before the ruling was made.
