Research links PTSD, heart disease

A study of male twins who served during the Vietnam War found that subjects who were diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder were more than twice as likely to develop heart disease. The link between heart disease and PTSD remained even after differences in lifestyles were factored out, the researchers said.
