Senate could vote today on immigration bill

The Senate could vote as early as today on the Gang of Eight's immigration bill, after test votes showed a substantial supermajority of lawmakers were willing to back the legislation. That might not be enough to convince House Republicans to pass the bill, however. "There's a totally different dynamic in the Senate than in the House. ... I don't expect senators to tell us how to do our job," said Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, a key figure in the House's immigration debate.
