Healtheway, which announced its founding members last week, is set to go into operation in the next few months. Tasked with overseeing the nationwide health information network, the group will need to harness the reach of its founding members to get stakeholders to buy into the initiative and achieve the goal of widespread health information exchange, this article notes. "What we see around the corner of HIE is that we have to get the physicians and their technical infrastructure more integrated and interoperable," said Healtheway President and Chair Michael Matthews.
