Voters side with SCOTUS on same-sex marriage

A narrow majority of Americans support same-sex marriage, and more than two-thirds support giving committed same-sex couples the same legal rights as married opposite-sex couples, according to Pew Research Center data. What's more, 85% of supporters of same-sex marriage, and 59% of opponents, believe that nationwide legal recognition of same-sex marriages is inevitable.
