Chemical safety program trains railroad response teams

U.S. railway operator BNSF has conducted a hands-on training for first responders to increase their knowledge in dealing with chemical spills or leaks in railways. "The freight we carry includes hazardous materials ... This training program is a way for us to build relationships between local responders and our people," a BNSF spokesman said.
