Boeing starts reliability testing of 787

Boeing has started function and reliability testing on its 787, as well as extended twin-engine operations testing on the new airliner. The ETOPS certification will be done in two phases, Boeing said, due to a rule change by the Federal Aviation Administration. "Because of a recent change to the rules, we need to make a software adjustment," said Boeing.
