Study: Software packages for 82Rb-gated PET/CT differ on LVEF data

A study of 62 patients who had 82Rb-gated myocardial perfusion PET/CT found that the four commercial software packages used yielded significantly different mean left ventricular ejection fraction. The researchers, however, said that most of the participants in the study were obese and female, and that the "results may be somewhat limited when applied to the general population."
