Money markets see calm ending to Q2

After turmoil last year, money markets appear relatively calm as the second quarter draws to a close. According to Barclays Capital, the riskiest asset classes performed the best. High-yield corporate bonds recorded 22.4% gains, while investment-grade debt posted 10.3% increases. "People have figured out a way to get the liquidity they need and get themselves funded through the quarter end," said Chris Ahrens of UBS Securities.
