3DTV sales are expected to weaken this year

3D television sales are expected to decline slightly this year as high prices and limited programming plague the technology. 3DTV holds 2% of the overall market now, and analysts at SNL Kagan expect it to reach 5% by the end of 2012 and 21% by 2015 as prices begin to drop. Sales of connected TVs are increasing, however, thanks to the availability of Web browsing and wireless features.
