Survey: E-mails lead to mobile purchases

Among consumers who cite some kind of marketing message as an impetus for a mobile purchase, e-mail remains the biggest single factor. In a survey by e-mail marketing company ExactTarget, 55% of respondents mentioned e-mail as a purchase driver, while 41% cited text messages and 35% cited Facebook.
