Mich. schools use grants to expand breakfast programs

Seventy-five schools in Michigan will share $250,000 in grants from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan to improve school-meal programs. Capac Elementary School plans to use its share of the money on heating and cooling bags to transport food into classrooms, and St. Clair High School will purchase a mobile cart for breakfasts.
