DOD plans to purchase more spy satellites

The DOD plans to buy and operate one or two commercial imagery satellites capable of spying on enemy troop movements and spotting construction at suspected nuclear sites, among other things. The Broad Area Surveillance Intelligence Capability satellite system will cost up to $4 billion, officials said.
