Brooklyn rooftop farm yields 50 types of vegetables

Lettuce, tomatoes, radishes and peas thrive on a 6,000-square-foot farm planted on the roof of an industrial building in Brooklyn. Ben Flanner, who runs the farm, says he hopes it eventually becomes a sustainable commercial farm. The enterprise now produces 50 different vegetables.
