Restaurant smells annoy some city dwellers

New Yorkers expect the city's smells to waft over them as they make their way through the day, but a sizable number draw the line when odors from neighboring eateries permeate their apartments. The city gets about 1,000 odor complaints against restaurants each year. One TriBeCa resident who also sits on a community board took his fight with a neighboring Indian restaurant public, airing complaints about traveling smells that add unwanted flavors to his morning Cheerios.
