Ark. governor is "fed up with Congress" as Nordex leaves state

Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe expressed his dismay that Nordex was shutting down its wind turbine factory in the state, blaming federal lawmakers for creating an unstable policy situation. "I'm so fed up with Congress. Arkansas went out of its way to bring these companies in," he said. In a statement, Rob Gramlich, senior vice president for public policy at the American Wind Energy Association, said: "Wind power has been good for Arkansas consumers and businesses, and wind power could do a lot more for the state if we had predictable national policies to create a stable business environment."
