Sequestration is taking a toll on readiness, Hagel says

Sequestration cuts have begun to affect military readiness, but U.S. forces will continue to do what is expected of them, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Friday at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station in Colorado. One of the 12 combat brigade teams due for deactivation by the Army is stationed at Fort Carson, near Cheyenne Mountain.
