Target takes cautious approach to Cartwheel digital coupon program

Target has been slow to promote its Cartwheel coupon program, which allows customers to pick out discounts on Facebook and redeem them in stores using their smartphones. The program has seen more than 200,000 users redeem more than $275,000 in deals since the beta launch about a month ago, and the retailer expects the program's use to grow through its newly-launched apps and increasing buzz on social channels.
