Surveys: Physicians influence public opinion about research

Survey data show physicians are seen as hard workers and more trustworthy and caring than other professionals. Yale University researchers also found doctors' support of comparative effectiveness research influences public opinion more than the opinions of politicians. The study is to be published this fall in the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law.
