Montana grant program helps homeowners reduce fire risk

A fuel-reduction grant program administered by the Northern Rocky Mountain Resource Development and Conservation Area and Montana State University Extension is meant to reduce risk of fire for homes built in undeveloped areas. Grants can be used to clear shrubs and trees that increase the risk of wildfires.
