Health plans may soon include free contraceptive services

Women's health advocates and some employer groups are pushing for the inclusion of contraception in the list of free preventive services covered by new health plans under the health reform law. They say the move not only could help reduce out-of-pocket costs but also could promote more reliable and affordable contraceptives and reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies.
