O'Charley's struggles in crowded casual niche

Nashville, Tenn.-based casual chain O'Charley's is once again seeking a CEO as it struggles to reverse flagging sales and revamp a concept that's losing with consumers. The 245-store chain was already struggling for relevance when the downturn hit. Now with chairman and interim chief Philip J. Hickey Jr. at the helm, O'Charley's is aiming to reverse a five-year slowdown with a revamped menu and renewed focus on service.
