Denver-based hospitals employ in-house docs to improve care

Hospitals in the Denver area are recruiting primary care physicians as in-house practitioners in an effort to improve patient care and cut health expenditures. The increase in staff recruitment is due in part to hospital competition for accountable care contracts with Medicare that would enable profit-sharing to efficiently performing providers.
