For lighter vehicles, look to chocolate technique, say Ford engineers

Engineers in Ford's Emerging Technology Labs are using chocolate to help build more sustainable motor vehicles. Air-injection techniques used to create "bubbly" chocolate bars could also be used to create lighter auto parts, reducing vehicles' total weight and fuel requirements. In addition, soy, wheat and dandelion-based bio-materials could find their way into eco-friendly consumer vehicles, this article says.
