Armed services skirmish over control of UAVs and their funding

With about 950 unmanned aerial vehicles flying over Iraq, control of the vehicles and the contracts has become a hot-button issue at the Pentagon. The Air Force argues that it should oversee all of the vehicles and oversee contracts to ensure cost-efficiency. The Army says that it needs control to respond to real-time threats.
