Experimental therapies show promise in overcoming food allergies

Researchers are studying ways to help children build up a resistance to potentially deadly allergies to foods like peanuts and eggs. Experimental processes called oral immunotherapy and sublingual immunotherapy expose children to tiny amounts of the food until they build up a tolerance to it.
