3D televisions are expected to be more affordable just in time for the holiday shopping season. The price difference between 3DTVs and their flat-screen cousins could decrease to $150 by November, according to the website Retrevo.com, which notes that the difference is currently around $400. Price has kept many consumers from adopting 3DTV, but a dearth of content has also played a role. "Sporting events are a fun experience, [but] we're still waiting for the next 'Avatar,'" Retrevo.com's Andrew Eisner said.
