U.K. regulators release map showing broadband penetration

The United Kingdom's Office of Communications, or Ofcom, released an interactive map showing that a vast majority of the nation's consumers have access to some form of fixed-line broadband, but 14% are stuck with connections with speeds of less than 2 Mbps. Regulators hope the visual representation of broadband deployment in the U.K. will help it reach its goal of becoming the best place for broadband in Europe by 2015 by showing where investment should be increased.
