Refund of nuclear-waste funds would be the best option

Yucca Mountain in Nevada was the "best hope" for storing 3,600 metric tons of used nuclear fuel that has accumulated in South Carolina, writes The Greenville News editorial board. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has introduced a bill that would return 75% of the the money set aside for Yucca Mountain to consumers and give utility companies the remainder.
